Moscow Street Photography

Today, after breakfast Mr. Penguin, Friend Penguin and I left the hotel and began to explore. Here are some photos of our 90 minutes walk. Temperature was cool and pleasant. Skies were cloudy.

Loved these toys dogs in a window.

I live a retired life in Tasmania, Australia. I love books, travel, animals, photography, motor biking and good friends. I indulge in all these activities with the little Travellin' Penguin who has now shared five continents with me. We love book shops, photography walks and time with friends as all our family is in USA and Canada. I enjoy visitors to my blog so hope you'll stop by.

  1. splendid photos… i wonder if they paint the cathedrals to keep them so white? and if the gold spires are gold or what… are those speakers in the alley picture? rock out! lovely doggies… i’d think there would be quite a market for those in the usa…

  2. I’ve been lucky enough to visit Moscow three times – once in 1979 in December (unbelievably cold). Such a grey place and very anonymous buildings. The only way you could tell what was a shop was the queue outside. 20 years later I was back and what a transformation – neon lights everywhere and the shops actually had goods for sale. I’ve only ever been in winter but the light in those photos of yours show it would be lovely to visit in the late spring or early autumn
